Thanks for the pictures JK. I'm out of state at the present (CA) and missing out on all the blizzard fun. As impressive as these pictures make the snow depth look I'm sure they don't do justice to the enormity of the impact. My wife tells me that this is extremely heavy "Seattle type" snow. I guarantee that Seattle never had 20 inches of it though.

Hey JK ! I've been waiting for 10 years for one of these. Figures when I move away, it finally comes. Sounds (and looks) like it was the real deal.
I've just returned from a marathon 12 days in a cold and foggy Germany to a sunny Oxford, 14 degrees C and the daffodils are blooming. I read Slaughterhouse 5 while I was there. Pretty weird to read it in Deutchland. I'm glad to be "home" but I would have liked to see the blizzard first hand.
I imagine you'll dig out soon.
